once upon a time...it was 2004. it seems like just yesterday was a different year...
well, i'm back from the ever entertaining new year's eve party that our youth leader planned for the youth group. seems like it was more geared towards middle-school aged children... it was interesting at the best of times. kareoke, a dj, 12 year olds and endless carbonated beverages...what a mix! ymca was an experience for the books, as well as the macarena...
well, i've been awake for over 24 hours now...and i think it's starting to wear on me. but i must get back to reading the books i so happened to buy earlier in my waking hours of this past 'day'. i do realize it's been more than a day, but i haven't slept...so, it's all the same day to me...i've even eaten breakfast already. the people at the party provided a 'nutritious' dinner, and then offered 'breakfast' at 5.30 this morning...that was a first for me, i'd have to say...but all in all, it wasn't all that bad of a day...i'm hungry, so i'm going to eat now. :o)
i hope you all have a happy and prosperous new year...as well as a memory-filled (i can't think of the word i want...) one. :o)
